Administrative Intern - Summer

SafeMedWaste is seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing & Administrative Intern to support day-to-day operations within a fast-growing healthcare technology company focused on medication safety and pharmaceutical waste innovation. This internship is ideal for a college student interested in healthcare, business operations, marketing, startups, or medical technology.

The intern will work closely with company leadership on a variety of projects that support business growth, strategic partnerships, investor communications, and organizational operations.

Responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with calendar management and scheduling meetings
• Organizing board meetings, agendas, notes, and follow-up items
• Conducting research on healthcare companies, distributors, hospitals, investors, and strategic partners
• Coordinating and participating in meetings with SafeMedWaste’s external marketing and branding partners
• Assisting with organization of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and project timelines
• Supporting preparation of investor materials, presentations, and business documents
• Tracking tasks, timelines, and operational deliverables
• Organizing digital files, contact lists, and internal documentation
• Helping coordinate travel, conferences, events, and trade shows
• Assisting leadership with special projects and operational tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and presentation software
• Interest in healthcare, startups, marketing, or business operations
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program preferred
