Engineer in Training
Timberline Engineering and Land Surveying, Inc. is seeking an Engineer in Training (EIT). Timberline offers general Civil and Structural Engineering services to the Utah, Wyoming and Colorado areas. Civil Engineering services and projects include: Commercial, Residential, and Industrial Land Development; Transportation & Roads, Stormwater Systems, Hydrology & Hydraulic Engineering, FEMA Floodplain Studies, Waste & Culinary Water Systems, and other related civil engineering services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 0 to 4 plus years
Experience working with others on technical professional projects
Ability to prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and concise technical reports
Self-motivated, engaged, ability to work independently under limited supervision
Demonstrate personal investment in your career
Must be detailed and quality oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D), Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis in Excel, emphasis in Civil Engineering, strong organizational skills.
Job Description:
Typical tasks and projects include: Land development for commercial and residential subdivisions, lot layout, road design, traffic studies, water and sewer systems, stormwater calculations, stormwater retention/detention pond design, public utility easements and rights-of-ways, master site plans, parking lot layout, photometric lighting plan, utility plans, fire hydrant flow tests, coordination with government entities, attending government approval meetings, submittal for approval with applicable State agencies, etc..

Autodesk Programs: (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Fusion, Advance Steel)
RISA Design Programs: (3D, Foundation, Connection, Section)
Microsoft Office Suite (Emphasis in Excel)
Enercalc, Forte’ Web, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Bluebeam
