Civil Structural Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. This individual will play a key role in the design and engineering of structural systems for a variety of commercial, agricultural, and industrial projects. What You’ll Do

Coordinate structural steel design including building and foundation elements

Design and engineer structural systems for a variety of projects

Perform calculations to ensure proper component and structural design

Develop specifications to ensure compliance with applicable building codes

Review and check structural drawings for completeness and accuracy

Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams throughout project execution

Assist in defining project scope and estimating budgets for structural engineering work

Research and apply modern manufacturing and engineering techniques

Support additional engineering and project-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam prior to hire

Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Basic understanding of building construction and structural design principles

Preferred

Experience with structural design software such as RISA-3D, RAM Advanse/Elements, CASTA, MBS, or similar programs

Experience in structural building design

Intention to pursue Professional Engineering (PE) licensure

Experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments
