Social Media Coordinator
Position Description
Give oversight as it relates to the enhancement of arts/design, website, and video output. Ensure clear communication with the various ministries within Galilee Baptist Church, in addition to providing effective communications with the media staff/crew. Work with all Galilee Baptist Church employees/ministries to effectively promote and execute departmental/church-wide events and programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
Attend events and produce live social media content.
Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
Monitor the website, mobile app and all social networking connections.
Serve as the media and promotional advisor for all church departments /leaders.
Responsible for coordinating on and off site remote location shoots, upon request of pastoral staff.
Assist in audio/sound or video booth
Complete other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
Must possess strong administrative and organizational skills.
Must be attentive to details.
Should be proficient in meeting task deadlines/timeline requirements.
Strong communication skills are a must.
Ability to multi-task.
Competencies:
Proficiency in Mac OS X
Proficiency in Adobe CS6 (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere & After Affects)
Proficiency with streaming with Facebook, YouTube, X, and other social media platforms
