Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will provide direction and leadership to achieve the company's sales targets. You will initiate knowledge expansion of products in your territory by becoming a trusted advisor through regular presentations, seminars, and frequent face-to-face sales calls/activities.

**The ideal candidate will have previous mechanical sales engineering experience and a Bachelor's in Engineering.

**Previous outside sales experience preferred. Must be a proficient and timely communicator both within and outside the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product training and seminars among clients, mechanical engineers, mechanical contractors, and building owners at company headquarters and/or customer’s location.
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to internal management
  • Develop strong relationships with current and prospective customers through regular face-to-face sales calls.
  • Provide technical and product support to customers and sales managers, identifying and resolving customer challenges.
  • Set sales call schedules to meet territory targets and improve brand awareness.
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analyses, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Perform unit selections, organize bid preparation documents, and ensure accuracy of bid costing.
  • Recommend continuous improvement and innovation that will maintain and grow market and product leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical engineering experience
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, business development, or account management
  • Outgoing/positive personality is a must
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to drive revenue growth
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%
  • Military experience welcome
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Knowledge of technology sales and understanding of technical products/services
  • Experience working with A/E, Design-Build and owner facility management personnel is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
