Junior Analyst (Internship)

Dillon Morgan Consulting is looking for a Junior Analyst to join our team onsite at City Hall in Kansas City. This is a full-time, hands-on role supporting procurement, data analysis, and process improvement for a public sector client. The Role You will assist in collecting and analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and developing actionable recommendations to support client business transformation initiatives. You will prepare reports, support performance improvement projects, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, and work closely with senior consultants to deliver results. The role includes synthesizing insights into presentations and contributing directly to client deliverables.
Details Location: City Hall, 1st Floor, 414 East 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64106 Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week Pay: $20/hour Duration: Starting immediately through end of June 2026
What you will do Support procurement and sourcing activities. Assist with data analysis and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Help improve processes and workflows. Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for client stakeholders.
Who we are looking for Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (current students in their final year are also eligible). Interest in management consulting, public sector work, or operations.
