AI Automation Engineer

We’re looking for an AI Automation Engineer to help design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows and internal tools across sales, marketing, operations, and customer success.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining AI, APIs, automations, and product thinking to eliminate manual work and create scalable systems.

What You'll Do

  • Build AI-driven workflows and internal automations
  • Connect tools and platforms using APIs, webhooks, and no-code/low-code systems
  • Design and deploy AI agents and workflow automations
  • Implement integrations across platforms such as:
    • OpenAI / Anthropic
    • HubSpot
    • Slack
    • Notion
    • Airtable
    • Clay
    • Zapier / Make / n8n
    • CRMs and internal systems
  • Build internal tools that improve operational efficiency
  • Create AI workflows for:
    • lead generation
    • outbound personalization
    • reporting
    • customer support
    • research
    • content operations
  • Work directly with leadership and clients to scope automation opportunities
  • Experiment rapidly with new AI tooling and frameworks

Requirements

  • Experience building automations and integrations
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and system design
  • Experience with automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n
  • Familiarity with LLMs and AI tooling
  • Comfortable debugging workflows and technical issues
  • Ability to move fast and work independently
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Scripting experience (Python or JavaScript)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with vector databases / RAG systems
  • Experience building AI agents
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and evals
  • Startup or agency experience
  • Experience working directly with clients
