POSITION SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support data quality, content management, and process improvement within our Product Information Management (PIM) system. This role is ideal for someone interested in working with product data, digital systems, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to high-impact improvements in how our product information is structured and presented.

Key Responsibilities
• Clean, organize, and maintain product data within the PIM system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all records
• Support the creation, editing, and upload of product images and digital assets (e.g., using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop)
• Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to standardize product naming, features, and application data
• Translate and format product data (via Excel and similar tools) to meet customer-specific requirements
• Validate updates to ensure accuracy and proper display across connected platforms, including the company website
• Identify duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent data and assist in resolving data quality issues
• Document data standards, workflows, and best practices to improve ongoing data management processes
• (Optional / Nice to have) Assist with basic debugging or troubleshooting of PIM-related issues using SQL or similar tools

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 
• Basic understanding of databases, data structures, or data management concepts 
• High efficiency with Excel
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages is a plus 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools for image editing
• Basic understanding of databases or SQL
• Exposure to PIM, ERP, or content management systems
• Interest in product data, digital systems, or industrial/technical products
• Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) tools 
• Interest in battery technology or industrial products (relevant to Power-Sonic)
