Freelance Educational and Curriculum Quality Lead 

At Uber AI Solutions, we are committed to building generative models that are not only technically advanced but pedagogically transformative. We are seeking a Senior Educational Quality & Curriculum Lead to serve as the definitive voice for instructional integrity within our AI training ecosystem.

This isn't just a content role; it is a leadership position for veteran educators—former District Leaders, University Faculty, or Senior Curriculum Directors—who understand the deep nuance of effective teaching. You will serve as our Senior Quality Auditor, ensuring that AI-generated educational content is scaffolded, grade-appropriate, and aligned with the highest global standards of excellence.

This is an independent contractor (IC) engagement, not a full-time role.

What You’ll Do

• Instructional Standards Oversight: Architect and refine the rigorous guidelines that govern how our AI models explain concepts, design lesson plans, and build assessments.
• High-Stakes Quality Auditing: Conduct deep-dive reviews of complex educational outputs to ensure cognitive demand, clarity, and pedagogical soundness meet professional benchmarks.
• Developmental Calibration: Ensure rigorous content alignment across the K-20 spectrum, verifying that linguistic complexity and conceptual depth are perfectly calibrated for the target learner.
• Expert Mentorship & Escalation: Act as the final authority and subject matter expert (SME) for complex curriculum mapping, assessment design, and pedagogical strategy.
• Ethical Guardrails: Oversee the ethical application of AI in education, ensuring a firm commitment to student data privacy (FERPA) and unbiased instructional delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• Academic Excellence: Ed.D., Ph.D., or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a specialized academic discipline.
• Veteran Leadership: 20+ years of experience in the education sector, with a proven track record in District Leadership, Senior Instructional Design, or Higher Education Faculty roles.
• Standards Mapping: Deep expertise in translating national/state learning objectives into measurable, high-quality instructional standards.
• Analytical Rigor: Mastery of mapping learning objectives to effective assessments and evidence-based instructional strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• AI & EdTech Literacy: Practical experience leveraging Generative AI to develop curriculum, summarize academic research, or automate assessment frameworks.
• Digital Ecosystems: Familiarity with modern Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital-first assessment platforms.
• Strategic Vision: The ability to apply decades of traditional pedagogical experience to the frontier of machine learning, ensuring AI tools are built on a foundation of professional excellence.
