Job Title: Counseling / Social Work Intern (In-Person)

Vantage Counseling (formerly Healing Place Counseling) is a well-established private practice with 11 years of experience serving the community. Our team values a warm, professional environment where staff feel supported, respected, and empowered. We are expanding and invite motivated interns to join our collaborative practice.

Position Overview:
We are seeking interns in social work or counseling who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in a supportive setting. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced clinicians, develop clinical skills, and participate in direct client care. Schedules are flexible and can be tailored to meet academic requirements and personal commitments. We welcome applicants who are committed to professional growth and are interested in joining our practice as licensed clinicians upon successful completion of their internship and licensure.

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a master’s program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
• Commitment to ethical, client-centered, and compassionate care
• Strong professionalism and ability to complete documentation
• Ability to build rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
• Interns are expected to maintain a consistent schedule that aligns with program requirements and practice needs
• Internship is located in Michigan; candidates must reside or plan to relocate to the area (relocation costs not provided)
• We do not offer VISA sponsorship at this time
