Substitute Teacher
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
- Must hold and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications or immediately schedule the course upon being hired.
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Must complete orientation training checklist
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Support the lead teacher in the implementation of the daily outline.
- Support the lead teacher in the implementation of a play-based, emergent curriculum.
- Attend staff meetings at least once a month.
- Attend 16 hours of in-service training per calendar year as agreed upon with Director.
- Be familiar with state licensing regulations as well as with Program Policies of Discovery Central Forest School.
