Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern to join the finance team at Cliff House Maine. This internship offers hands-on experience in hospitality finance, providing exposure to daily accounting operations within a luxury resort environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, analytical, and interested in pursuing a career in finance within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable
- Electronic Purchase Order Processing and Invoice Management
- Accounts Receivable Checks and ACH Processing
- Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Participate in month-end closing processes
- Vendor Setup Management
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

- Interest in the hospitality or hotel industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
