Position title: Summer Camp Creative Writing & Media Teacher (Elementary Level)

Period: Position to start from 2026 June.

Location: Remote Job - Utilizing Online Communication Software Zoom

What is a Summer Camp Online Creative Writing & Media Teacher?

We are looking for a passionate and creative instructor to teach our
Creative Writing & Media Project program.

This role goes beyond traditional writing instruction. Teachers will guide students through:

  • Creative storytelling and writing
  • Script writing for video content
  • Idea development and content structuring
  • Presenting and expressing ideas through digital media
  • Basic video editing and content production (e.g., YouTube editing workflows)

Students will work toward creating their own YouTube-style content projects, building both writing skills and creative confidence.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field OR current college student majoring in Education, Media, Film, or related field
  • Comfortable using laptops, computers, and online teaching tools
  • Available during: - Twice/ Week (Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, Wednesday/Friday)
  • Stable internet connection (minimum 8Mbps download/upload)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred conditions:

  • Teaching certification (Elementary Education preferred)
  • Experience teaching creative writing to elementary students
  • Background in Media, Film, Communications, or Content Creation
  • Experience with YouTube, video storytelling, or digital content creation
  • 1+ year of teaching experience (Elementary/Middle school)

 

Main duties: At least 3 classes/week for Summer Camp 

  • Lead small-group online classes (3–5 students) via Zoom
    • Creative writing and Media Creation
    • Script writing for YouTube-style content
  • Content planning (idea → structure → final output)
  • Provide clear, structured feedback & evaluation on student work
  • Foster an engaging and supportive classroom environment
  • Maintain attendance and class records
