What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer at DataBahn, you will:

• Build backend services for data ingestion, transformation, and routing
• Develop and enhance connectors to integrate with enterprise systems (SIEM, cloud platforms, APIs, etc.)
• Work on high-throughput distributed systems processing large-scale data
• Contribute to real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures
• Build and support AI agents that automate data engineering and security workflows
• Develop APIs and microservices for cloud-native applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues with guidance from senior engineers
• Collaborate with engineering, product, platform, and AI teams
• Use AI-driven development tools and automation techniques in daily workflows

What You’ll Learn

• How to design and build distributed systems at scale
• Hands-on experience with connectors, data pipelines, and streaming systems
• Working with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and real-time processing
• Building and integrating AI agents for automation and intelligence
• Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern infrastructure practices
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Observability, monitoring, and system reliability
• Real-world experience building production-grade systems used by enterprise customers

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with at least one programming language (Go or Java preferred)
• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, and backend systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or project experience in backend or systems engineering
• Exposure to cloud platforms or distributed systems
• Experience with Git, REST APIs, or microservices
• Interest in data engineering, AI agents, or automation
• Open-source contributions or personal technical projects
