Part-Time Barista
Job description:
Milk Studios Los Angeles is seeking a friendly, skilled, and reliable Part-Time Barista to join our Los Angeles team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, thrives in a creative environment, and is committed to delivering high-quality service to a diverse clientele of artists, models, producers, and guests.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and serve a range of high-quality espresso-based drinks, teas, and other café items
- Ensure consistent drink quality, presentation, and service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, equipment, and workstations
- Assist with restocking inventory, receiving deliveries, and tracking supplies
- Engage clients and staff with professionalism and a warm, welcoming attitude
- Support studio events and activations when café services are involved
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of barista experience in a high-volume or specialty café setting
- Knowledge of coffee preparation, equipment, and café best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekdays and occasional weekends or evenings
- Familiarity with the creative industries or a passion for art, fashion, or media is a plus
- Latte art proficient
- 2+ references required
