Job Title: Dance & Vocal Instructor Interns (Paid & For-Credit Opportunities)

 Type: Internship (Part-Time | Academic Credit Eligible | Paid Options Available)

 

 

About the Opportunity:
Tariakuri Academy is a community-based performing arts program seeking passionate Dance, Theater, and Music interns to support youth arts education. This internship is designed for students and emerging artists looking to gain real classroom teaching experience, arts education training, and performance development skills in a culturally rooted environment.

 

 

Styles & Disciplines:
Hip-Hop • Ballet • Jazz • Tap • Vocal Training • Theater Arts

 

 

Intern Responsibilities:

  • Assist or lead youth dance and/or vocal classes
  • Support lesson planning, warm-ups, and choreography
  • Help guide students in rehearsals and performances
  • Work alongside professional teaching artists
  • Contribute to an inclusive, creative classroom environment
  • Gain hands-on experience in arts education and youth development

Ideal candidates are:

  • Passionate about teaching and mentorship
  • Interested in arts education, choreography, or directing
  • Strong communicators and team players
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
