TikTok Content Intern

About Ruvimo Ruvimo is an online tutoring and extracurricular learning platform for school-age kids in the USA. We help children in Grades 2–10 with Maths, English, Science, Coding, Music, Chess, and more through live one-on-one online sessions. We're growing fast and building our presence on TikTok to reach parents across America.

What This Role Is This is not a "post three times a week and write captions" internship. We're looking for someone who lives on TikTok, understands what makes a video stop the scroll in the first second, and has the hunger to build something from the ground up. You will own Ruvimo's TikTok account — strategy, content, filming, editing, posting, and growth. If you've ever looked at a brand's TikTok and thought "I could do this so much better" — this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Ruvimo TikTok account end to end — content calendar, filming, editing, posting, and community management
  • Research trending sounds, formats, and hooks relevant to parenting, education, and kids' learning
  • Create 5–7 original TikToks per week — a mix of educational tips, relatable parenting humour, behind-the-scenes tutoring content, and student wins
  • Write hooks that stop parents mid-scroll in the first 1 second
  • Monitor performance weekly — views, follows, profile visits, link clicks — and adjust strategy based on what's working
  • Engage with comments, reply to questions, and build a genuine community around the account
  • Identify and engage with parent creators and education TikTokers for potential collaborations
  • Duet, stitch, and jump on trending formats when relevant to our audience
  • Maintain a content idea bank — always 2 weeks ahead on concepts
  • Report weekly on growth metrics with clear observations on what drove results

You're the Right Fit If You:

  • Spend more time on TikTok than you'd admit to your professors
  • Can tell within 3 seconds whether a TikTok hook will work or not
  • Have made TikToks before — for yourself, a club, a brand, anything
  • Understand the difference between content that gets views and content that gets the right views
  • Can film, edit, and post a TikTok entirely on your phone without needing a production team
  • Are comfortable being on camera — or can direct someone else who is
  • Understand the parent and education niche or are willing to immerse yourself in it fast
  • Don't need to be told what to post — you come with ideas, not just execution

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have grown a TikTok account past 1,000 followers — personal or otherwise
  • Have experience with CapCut, InShot, or native TikTok editing
  • Have a younger sibling, have tutored before, or understand the school-age kid world
  • Are studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Education, or Psychology

What You'll Get

  • Real ownership of a brand account — not coffee runs and spreadsheets
  • A portfolio piece that shows measurable TikTok growth over a full summer
  • Weekly mentorship and feedback from Ruvimo's marketing lead
  • Flexible remote hours — we care about output, not clock-watching
  • A letter of recommendation based on performance
  • Paid internship — 500 USD

What Success Looks Like at the End of Summer

  • Ruvimo TikTok account grows from 0 to 5000 followers
  • At least 3 videos cross 10,000 views
  • A documented content system the next person can pick up and run
  • At least 20 inbound leads attributed to TikTok

To Apply Send us three things:

  1. Your TikTok handle or a link to any video content you've made
  2. One TikTok idea you'd make for Ruvimo in your first week — just a concept, no need to film it
  3. Two sentences on why you'd be good at this

We will not respond to applications without all three.
