Toddler Lead Teacher
FULL TIME HOURLY LEAD TEACHER
TODDLER (1-2 YEARS)

Seeking Individuals who will...
- Serve as a warm, attentive role model for toddlers ages 1–2 by guiding through simple, positive examples, encouraging safe exploration and early healthy habits, and ensuring a safe, responsive environment that meets the needs of each child.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in education or related field or CPL level 3 or above preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma/GED (required)
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Early childhood classroom experience, including lesson planning & conducting assessments
- Demonstrates knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice

Starting Pay:
$14.50-17.00/hr
Position Description:
- Designs and implements daily lesson/activity plans
- Responsible for well-being and personal growth of the children
- Assists in potty training
- Leads the classroom team that includes supervision of Assistant Teachers
- Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child
- Conducts parent conferences, and maintains positive relationships and effective communication with parents
- Maintains classroom and program equipment
- Maintains required program records
- Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training
- Maintains training in First aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse Awareness as well as 10 hours of Ohio Approved training per year. (trainings provided by YMCA and affiliates)
