Infant Classroom Early Childhood Educator

The position we are currently seeking is for our Infant classroom (ages 3 months - 18 months). Educator must have availability to work full-time during our hours of operation 7:30am-6:00pm. The shift schedule for this position we are seeking would be availability to work 9:30am-5:30pm & 10:00am-6:00pm.

Minimum qualifications:

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of 12 ECE units (Child/Human Growth & Development; Child, Family, & Community; Programs & Curriculum)
• At least 3 semester (4 quarter units) in Infant/Toddler Development coursework.
• 1+ years of experience in Pre-K, preschool, and/or infant/toddler programs
• Knowledge of or experience with the Reggio Emilia philosophy

Our educators have the ability to:

• Provide nurturing, responsive care for infants (ages 5 months - 18 months)
• Support social-emotional development and early learning through play
• Implement emergent curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy
• Collaborate with a teaching team to plan and reflect on classroom experiences
• Build strong partnerships with families and caregivers
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment
• Bring willingness to learn and grow with other members of the school community by participating in staff development opportunities

Salary & Benefits
