Role Overview
We are human development experts who use the platform of Shotokan Karate to create the leaders of the future who will solve the world’s problems. As the Assistant Program Director, you support our students' journeys. Your mission is to assist in guiding students from their first inquiry to achieving their 2nd Degree Black Belt. This role is a blend of marketing, sales (enrollment), education, communication and relationship management. We are looking for a high-energy, "on-your-feet" leader who is ready to grow our community and lead by example. This is an entry-level position, no martial arts experience is not required.
Core Responsibilities: Assist in the following
1. Marketing & Lead Generation (40%)
- Executing the school’s marketing plan to generate 125+ qualified leads monthly.
- Managing all external, internal, and online lead-generation events.
- Overseeing digital communications via social media, email, text, and chat.
2. Enrollment & Sales (40%)
- Managing the full sales funnel with a goal of 20+ new enrollments per month.
- Setting and conducting evaluation lessons and enrollment conferences.
- Performing immediate follow-ups with new students to ensure a world-class onboarding experience.
3. School Operations & Culture (20%)
- Maintaining an emotionally positive, welcoming environment for families.
- Staffing the school during peak hours (afternoons/evenings)
- Managing daily office logistics.
- Overseeing CRM database management, reporting, and general supplies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
- Experience: Confidence in sales, marketing, or customer-facing management.
- Skills: Proficient in social media, CRM databases, and Microsoft Office.
- Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Availability: Must be willing to work "2nd shift" hours (afternoons/evenings) and Saturdays.
The Ideal Candidate
- A "Product of the Product": You must be willing to train in Shotokan Karate and earn green belt within 180 days.
- High Energy: You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and can "run hard" from day one.
- Communicator: Excellent verbal and written skills; Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Character-Driven: Embody courage, courtesy, integrity, humility and self-control.
Compensation & Benefits: Full-time Exempt
- Base Salary: $4,000/month
- Incentive Pay: Base salary or commission structure10% of gross school income, with the potential to earn $8,000+ per month.
- Growth: Rapid training to reach high-level functionality (Program Director) within 180 days.
