Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist
Power Design Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing outgoing payments, tracking incoming revenue, and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions (invoices, vendor payments, expense reports)
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare and send invoices to clients/customers
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team
- Familiarity with ERP systems
