SAESHE is a Los Angeles-based public relations and communications agency specializing in multilingual outreach and public education campaigns for government and community clients.
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented intern to support our team on active public relations and community outreach initiatives. This is a structured, hands-on internship offering real-world experience in campaign execution, community engagement, and client-facing work.
This role contributes directly to public-facing programs that serve diverse communities. Interns are expected to take ownership of their responsibilities and represent our work with professionalism and reliability.
Program Overview:
This internship requires a minimum 6-month commitment, with preference for candidates interested in longer-term involvement (9–12+ months).
This position is designed for individuals seeking consistent, hands-on experience in public relations and outreach—not short-term or occasional work. Many past interns have continued with the team beyond the initial term based on performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event preparation and on-site support
- Support campaign tracking, surveys, and reporting
- Conduct research and assist with outreach materials
- Provide multilingual support at community events
- Assist with coordination and administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English or Chinese/English (required)
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student (Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Interest in public relations, community outreach, or public sector work
- Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule (16–20 hours/week)
Expectations:
This internship requires a high level of reliability and consistency. Interns are expected to maintain a regular schedule, be punctual, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
Candidates should be able to commit to the full duration of the internship and demonstrate interest in building continuity and growing with the team over time.
