About the Role
- 20 hrs/week
- Unpaid, 6 month program
- Fully remote
- Operations team
- OPT/CPT eligible
- Commit to weekly 90-minute company meetings (PST): Monday & Friday @10am
- Commit to weekly 60-minute meetings (PST): Monday @3:00pm Operations Team Standup, Tuesday @1:00pm Operations Alignment Sync, Thursdays @12:00pm Grant writing sync
Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with PROJXON’s mission and programs
- Assist in preparing, writing, and submitting grant proposals and supporting documentation
- Develop and maintain grant budgets, reporting schedules, and compliance documentation
- Track grant deadlines, expenditures, and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with Operations and Business teams to ensure accurate grand management
- Support post-award reporting and monitoring activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred skills
- Experience with grant writing or nonprofit fundraising
- Familiarity with grant databases or funding portals
- Basic understanding of budgeting and financial tracking
- Experience with documentation management and reporting
- Interest in nonprofit operations, social impact, or program development
