Introduction:

This position is for a Junior Java Developer with at least 3+ years of experience. The individual will be responsible for developing applications using Java and various other tools. They will work on writing scalable and secure code to power our clients' platforms and collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications using Java 8/JEE, Angular 2+, React.js, SQL, Spring, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Write scalable, secure, and maintainable code
  • Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests
  • Work with Testers to understand and resolve defects
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and presenting them for review
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to accomplish user story and sprint goals

Requirements:

  • Experience in Java and JavaScript programming languages
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Basic programming skills using object-oriented programming languages
  • Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL query language skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science
  • 2+ years of practical experience in Java coding
  • Experience with Spring, Maven, and Angular frameworks, HTML, CSS
  • Knowledge of other contemporary Java technologies
  • Knowledge of JSP, J2EE, and JDBC
