Job Description: The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing many activities in a business and can be located anywhere. In addition, they direct the coordination across different departments to identify areas needing improvement. This individual is to develop strategies and put ideas into action that drive the store towards the vision. The leader must guide and develop upper level leadership to assist in turning ideas into action! Report into the General Manager.
Expected Results:
- Continuous development of High Performance Leadership Team
- Continuous assessment of all systems and procedures to ensure we are as accurate and productive with our work as we can be. Quickly resolve any issues with the operation to where it doesn't happen in the future.
- Understand equipment maintenance and building codes

- Drive-thru stats = Fast Service 76%
- Labor: 21.5%- 23% / Productivity:$88/hr - $94/hr
- Top 33% in labor hours
Responsibilities of the In-training Director of Operations include:
- Develop and guide the Team through weekly huddles/reporting sessions to help them successfully reach the goals on their scorecard. Specifically, you should be informed on:
- Attendance (Call-outs and other time punch issues)
- Drive-Thru Reporting
- Hospitality Reporting
- Change Fund Money
- Labor/Productivity
- Kitchen CEM's, staffing, and other operational needs specific to the BOH
- Marketing Events that is an impact on operations
- Scheduling
- Ordering
- Maintain Personal Development Plans (One-on-One) for each leader and help develop their leadership skills.
- Food Safety
- Stay in the top 20% CEM scores - measured and updated daily
- Daily ERQAs, SAFE, EFSA, JOLT oversight completion
- Ability to communicate effectively to the General Manager the state of the business and new steps taken by leadership to increase efficiency and effectiveness
