Equipment Engineering Intern
Position Summary/ Objectives:
The Equipment Engineering Interns will be responsible for assisting in the qualification and start-up of new equipment and instrumentation. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of initiative, technical writing ability and attention to detail. This is a hands-on position working with the current Equipment Engineers and Technical Specialist staff.
Essential Job Functions:
● Performs the commissioning, qualification and validation of new or modified equipment.
● Prepares and executes validation or qualification protocols.
● Coordinates associated activities such as testing, calibration and maintenance work.
● Writes final validation or qualification reports.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Education
Experience and Certification:
● Coursework or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
● Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work in a team environment
● No previous experience required

Salary: $19.00 per hour
