Position Summary

Magnolia Therapy Solutions is seeking a dependable, playful, and compassionate Pediatric Autism Therapy Technician to provide one-on-one therapy support to young children with autism and developmental delays.

In this role, you will work directly with children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or licensed clinician. You will help children develop communication, play, social, self-help, and learning-readiness skills through structured and natural play-based activities.

No ABA experience is required for the right candidate. We provide training, coaching, and ongoing supervision.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide one-on-one therapy support for young children in a pediatric clinic setting
  • Use play-based strategies to teach communication, social, play, and daily living skills
  • Follow individualized treatment plans created by supervising clinicians
  • Support children during transitions, routines, group activities, and structured teaching tasks
  • Collect simple data on child progress during therapy sessions
  • Encourage functional communication, joint attention, imitation, participation, and independence
  • Receive real-time coaching and feedback from clinical supervisors
  • Maintain professional communication with team members and supervisors
  • Follow clinic policies related to attendance, documentation, confidentiality, and safety

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Warm, playful, and patient with young children
  • Dependable and consistent with attendance
  • Comfortable sitting on the floor, playing, singing, moving, and engaging with children
  • Open to feedback and willing to learn
  • Professional in communication and follow-through
  • Interested in child development, autism, communication, early intervention, or behavioral health
  • Able to remain calm and supportive when children have difficulty communicating or transitioning

Required Qualifications

  • Genuine interest in working with young children with autism and developmental delays
  • Experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, tutoring, camp, caregiving, therapy, or educational setting preferred
  • Willingness to learn ABA, Natural Environment Teaching, and developmental therapy strategies
  • Ability to receive real-time feedback, coaching, and modeling during sessions
  • Strong attendance, professional communication, and reliability
  • BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to pass required background checks

Preferred Qualifications

  • RBT certification
  • 1–2+ years of experience working with young children
  • Experience with autism, early intervention, ABA, speech therapy, special education, or developmental delays
  • Familiarity with play-based, Natural Environment Teaching, ESDM, JASPER, or developmental approaches
  • Experience following a treatment plan or collecting data

Schedule

Daytime weekday availability is required.
Part-time and full-time options may be available depending on candidate availability and clinic needs.

Ideal availability includes consistent blocks between:

Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Priority will be given to candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

Compensation is based on experience, certification status, and availability.
