Flatbed Driver

As a key player in the profitable flatbed operation of the company, drivers are expected to operate their assigned trucks in a manner that reflects safety, professionalism and profitability for themselves and the company. They need to: *Meet all FMCSA requirements *Meet the essential function of the job *Be able to secure and protect the freight *Be able to perform simple math calculations *Be able to read, write and understand English *Read a map *Follow verbal instructions *Operate in-cab communication equipment *Be able to work in all environments including dust, dirt, fuel/chemical vapors, noise, and various climate conditions *Operate the truck on any road surface in a safe manner during day and night hours.  New drivers out of school will participate in a six-week training program to ensure preparedness for this Class A license required position.
