Location: Kalida, OH.

Position Description: 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Machine Builder III. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for building and troubleshooting complex automation equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing, mechanical, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards. Problem solving skills are critical for machine testing and troubleshooting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and build machinery according to blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic system issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D CAD models.
  • Use power tools and hand tools to perform assembly tasks.
  • Install machinery at customer facilities, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in machine building or mechanical systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D CAD models.
  • Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
  • Robotic knowledge is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Overtime and travel are required – occasionally throughout the year.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
  • Lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing, will occur daily.
