Position Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in delivering cutting-edge automation solutions and custom equipment to a diverse range of industries. This individual will maintain and grow relationships with current and new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Maintain company reputation in technical expertise and service excellence.
- Perform site visits to understand client needs
- Develop proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customers’ requirements.
- While ensuring customer satisfaction, negotiate terms and close sales agreements.
- Collaborate with department managers and engineers to ensure accurate quoting and project execution.
- Monitor project scopes and budgets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automation technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles in automation, manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
- Strong understanding of automation systems, robotics, controls, and custom machinery.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal & written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite: experience with CAD or technical drawings is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
