High School Science Teacher

POSITION: High School Science Teacher with a $8,000 new hire bonus.

INFORMATION: Located in Grayling, Michigan -- the county seat of Crawford County in the middle of Northern Michigan -- CASD operates three schools that serve over 1,600 students in preschool through grade 12.  CASD and our individual schools have received numerous awards over the last several years.  We are seeking an energetic, professional candidate to join our school family. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicants must possess a valid Michigan secondary teaching certificate.  DA, DX, or DI endorsement required. Other endorsement areas considered.  Additional endorsement areas are desirable.  The qualified candidate should be knowledgeable in the Next Generation Science Standards and be knowledgeable about current educational research.  Applicants must use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a quality learning environment and must be willing to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge.  Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job duty.

SALARY: According to the terms of the Master Agreement.
