Circuits & Systems TA
The ECE Department is now accepting applications for Teaching Assistant (TA) positions for the following Circuits & Systems courses: Intro (ECE1220), Circuits & Systems I (ECE1230), and Circuits & Systems I Lab (ECE1235). Teaching Assistants receive an Experiential Learning Scholarship ($12/hour) and are expected to assist students with course and lab activities, as well as hold study sessions and office hours. TAs do NOT grade student reports or homework.
1) Circuits&Systems:Intro (ECE1220) [TTh 1:00pm - 3:20pm, 6.5 hours/week]:
Job Description:
- Attend weekly lectures to assist students with hands-on, studio-style instruction and take attendance
- Hold at least 1 hour of office hours per week
- Meet with the instructor once per week (~30 minutes) to discuss performance and upcoming course content
Qualifications: Must have completed ECE1240/1245 or ECE1220
2) Circuits&Systems I (ECE1230) [MW 10:30am -11:50am, 4.5 hours/week]
Job Description:
- Attend weekly lectures to assist students with problem-solving and take attendance
- Hold at least 1 hour of office hours per week
- Meet with the instructor once per week (~30 minutes) to discuss performance and upcoming course content
Qualifications: Must have completed ECE1240/1245 or ECE1220 + ECE1230/1235
3) Circuits&Systems I Lab (ECE1235)
Section 1: ECE1235-301 Lab: Th 3:30 - 6:30, 4.5 hours/week
Section 2: ECE1235-302 Lab : W 3:30 - 6:30, 4.5 hours/week
Job Description:
- Attend weekly lab sessions to assist students with lab instructions and take attendance
- Hold at least 1 hour of office hours per week (before or after the lab)
- Meet with the instructor once per week (~30 minutes) to discuss performance and upcoming course content
Qualifications: Must have completed ECE1240/1245 or ECE1220 + ECE1230/1235
