About the Future Leader Program

Our Future Leader Program is designed to develop outstanding teachers into future leaders within CalColor Academy.

Participants will receive:

  • Structured leadership training
  • Mentorship from senior educators and branch managers
  • Opportunities to lead projects and programs
  • Career advancement pathways into Senior Teacher, Program Lead, and Branch Manager roles

This program is ideal for candidates who are passionate about education, creativity, and leadership development.

ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Student Development

  • Lead engaging and interactive art classes for children ages 4–18
  • Inspire creativity and artistic expression through well-designed lesson plans and hands-on activities
  • Provide individualized feedback to help students develop artistic skills and confidence
  • Maintain an organized and inspiring art studio environment

Communication & Community

  • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and achievements
  • Participate in art exhibitions and events that celebrate student accomplishments
  • Represent CalColor Academy at community events and art-related activities

Leadership Development (Future Leader Program)

  • Participate in leadership and professional development training
  • Support curriculum development and program improvements
  • Assist in mentoring junior teachers and contributing to team success
  • Collaborate with management on projects that enhance student experience and program quality

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, we are looking for candidates who have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of art teaching experience, preferably working with young children
  • Prior leadership experience preferred (such as mentoring, leading projects, managing teams, or coordinating programs)
  • Strong classroom management and group facilitation skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching art and nurturing creativity in young learners
  • Excellent communication skills when interacting with students, parents, and team members
  • A cheerful, energetic, and engaging teaching style
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A growth mindset with interest in leadership development
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and strong problem-solving ability
  • Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods and classroom environments
