POSITION OVERVIEW 

SCIP is seeking experienced UI/UX Designers to lead the design strategy and execution for our global digital transformation. This is a high-visibility, estimated 3+ months digital transformation project requiring innovative thinking, a global perspective, and a commitment to creating impact through design. We are looking for seasoned professionals with corporate experience who are passionate about giving back to nonprofits and using their skills to empower the next generation of diverse leaders in STEM, business, and finance.


WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

  • Lead end-to-end design strategy across SCIP's global platform — from wireframes and user flows to polished, production-ready interfaces
  • Collaborate with engineering, content, and product teams to deliver accessible, user-centered digital experiences
  • Use AI-powered design tools to accelerate iteration and bring innovative solutions to delivery faster
  • Upskill internal team members and contribute to SCIP's long-term design systems foundation


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 

  • 2+ years of UI/UX design experience in a corporate, industry, or nonprofit setting
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for mission-driven design and global impact
  • Proficiency in Figma or equivalent; AI design tool experience is a bonus
  • Experience with international or multicultural projects is a plus
  • Experience with dashboard design or job portal/talent platform interfaces is a plus
  • Portfolio of professional design work required


Commitment: Project-based engagement (estimated 3+ months, depending on scope) | High-visibility role | Remote-friendly | Unpaid (volunteer consulting/ pro-bono)
