Pay Range: $25–$35 per hour

About the Role

Learn2Code.Live offers interactive, student-focused Graphic Design classes for K–12 students in Lathrop, CA. We’re seeking energetic and enthusiastic part-time instructors who are passionate about design and excited to inspire students with creative, 21st-century digital skills.

This is a rewarding opportunity to introduce students to the fundamentals of graphic design, visual communication, and digital creativity in a structured, supportive classroom environment.

What You’ll Do

• Foster a creative, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning
• Follow our ready-made curriculum and lesson plans to guide students through projects
• Teach foundational graphic design concepts such as layout, typography, color theory, and composition
• Help students complete hands-on design projects using accessible digital tools
• Be punctual, organized, and prepared to run smooth and effective class sessions
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive, encouraging feedback
• Offer individualized support to students with different skill levels and learning needs
• Use varied teaching methods to engage students across K–12 age groups
• Communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and program staff
• Share classroom insights to help improve curriculum and student experience
• Manage classes independently and take initiative in daily instruction
• Communicate promptly with the Learn2Code.Live team via email or phone as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Background in Graphic Design, Animation, Media Arts, or a related creative field (student or recent graduate welcome)
• Comfortable using computers and basic design software/tools
• Creative, adaptable, and able to keep students engaged in hands-on learning
• Patient, empathetic, and confident explaining visual and technical concepts
• Enjoys working with K–12 students (elementary through high school)
• Able to manage a classroom environment with confidence and positivity
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a plus—but not required
• Reliable transportation to the Lathrop, CA 95330 class site
