SUMMARY:

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Community Management Intern with a strong graphic design and content creation focus. In this role, you’ll help bring our brand to life across digital platforms by designing engaging visuals, editing short-form videos, and interacting with our online community. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your portfolio while gaining real-world experience in social media strategy and brand storytelling.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and produce engaging visual content for social media, including graphics, carousels, and short-form videos 
  • Assist in planning and executing content calendars across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn 
  • Edit video content optimized for social platforms (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) 
  • Write compelling captions that align with brand voice and encourage audience engagement 
  • Monitor social channels and actively engage with followers by responding to comments and messages 
  • Support community management efforts, including moderating comments and fostering positive interactions 
  • Research social media trends, viral content formats, and competitor activity to inform strategy 
  • Track performance metrics and provide insights to improve content effectiveness 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, launches, and creative initiatives 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field 
  • Experience or coursework in: 
    • Social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
      • Graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva)
      • Video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, engagement tactics, and online community behavior 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities required.

  • Continually required to stand, walk, sit, and utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
