Summer 2026 | Athletics Tailgate Operations Staff

JOB SUMMARY
Texas State Athletics is seeking outgoing and highly motivated individuals to support all game-day tailgate operations for the 2026–2027 football season. This role is integral to delivering a first-class fan experience in Tailgate Central and across designated areas.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with tailgate setup and breakdown, loading and unloading equipment, preparing and organizing tailgate spaces, and ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and game-ready. Staff will actively monitor tailgating areas throughout game day, engage with tailgate groups, assist in managing vendors, and help ensure all operations run smoothly. This position plays a key role in the full execution of tailgating operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Must be available to work all home football game days and additional assigned days for setup and preparation
• Flexible schedule with availability for nights and weekends
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, organized, and adaptable with a willingness to take initiative
• Interest in gaining experience in collegiate athletics is preferred
• Passion for Texas State Athletics and creating a great fan experience
