About Us
We’re a small team building AI-powered tools that solve real-world problems. Day to day, that means shipping fast, improving things constantly, and keeping our codebase clean and manageable. We care more about thoughtful engineering than buzzwords.
What You’ll Do
This isn’t a “watch from the sidelines” role—you’ll actually be contributing to real features pretty quickly.
- Build and improve parts of our web app (mostly frontend, some backend exposure)
- Turn simple designs or ideas into working UI
- Hook up frontend components to APIs
- Fix bugs, clean up rough edges, and make things faster
- Work closely with an engineer who can guide you when you’re stuck
- Join code reviews and ask questions (a lot of them—that’s expected)
What We’re Looking For
- Some hands-on experience with web development (projects, internships, or coursework all count)
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Basic experience with a framework like React, Vue, or Angular
- You’ve worked with APIs before (even if just in a project)
- You can figure things out when you don’t know the answer right away
- You communicate clearly and don’t disappear when something gets tricky
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Exposure to backend tools (Python, Node.js, etc.)
- Familiarity with Git and basic workflows
- Any experience deploying a project or working on a live app
- Curiosity about AI or how it connects to real products
What This Role Is (and Isn’t)
- ✅ Good fit if you want real experience and mentorship
- ✅ Flexible enough to work around classes or another job
- ❌ Not a passive internship - you’ll be expected to contribute
- ❌ Not ideal if you need constant step-by-step direction
What You’ll Get
- Flexible hours and fully remote work
- Real-world experience shipping features people use
- Direct mentorship and feedback
- A chance to grow into a larger role if it’s a good fit
How to Apply
Apply through Handshake with your resume. If you have projects (GitHub, portfolio, etc.), definitely include them - we actually look at those.
