The Opportunity
We're seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team and contribute to the strategic and creative growth of our brand. This is not a coffee-run internship, you'll get real ownership of campaigns, data, and brand decisions. If you're pursuing your Master's and want a portfolio-defining experience in healthcare marketing, this role is built for you.
What You'll Do
Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and patient/customer insights to inform marketing strategy
- Assist in planning, writing, and editing content for blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, and website pages
- Collaborate on social media strategy, content calendars, and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Help manage paid ad campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) - from setup to performance reporting
- Track KPIs, build performance dashboards, and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Support SEO efforts, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content briefs
- Contribute to brand development initiatives, including messaging, positioning, and visual consistency
- Coordinate with vendors, designers, and content creators on deliverables and timelines
- Ensure all marketing efforts align with brand guidelines and HIPAA/patient privacy standards
What We're Looking For
Currently enrolled in a Master's program (Marketing, MBA, Communications, Digital Media, or related field) exceptional undergraduate seniors will also be considered
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data and consumer behavior
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Canva
- Familiarity with SEO principles, content marketing, and paid media fundamentals
- A proactive, self-starter attitude, comfortable taking initiative and managing multiple projects
- Portfolio, coursework samples, or campaign work that demonstrates marketing capability (required)
- Must be available to work on-site in The Colony, TX
Nice to Have
Prior internship or project experience in healthcare, wellness, or service-based industries
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, or basic graphic design
- Understanding of brand strategy frameworks and consumer journey mapping

Logistics

- Compensation: Paid hourly or academic credit, based on candidate's experience and program requirements. Senior Master's-level candidates with strong portfolios will be considered for paid positions.
