QA Engineer
The Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented engineer to help us ship reliable software. You'll work directly alongside our Lead Software Engineer, learning the codebase as features are built and owning quality at every step. This is a hands-on role that combines test engineering with real software development work.
What You'll Do
- Write and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright
- Review new features as they're built and identify issues early
- Document bugs clearly and work with the engineering team to resolve them
- Take on basic bug fixes and software development tasks as you ramp up
- Help establish QA processes and best practices as we scale
What We're Looking For
- Coursework or experience in software development (any language)
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing
- Willingness to learn Playwright and modern testing workflows
- Good written communication skills (you'll be logging bugs, not just finding them)
- Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Any exposure to automated testing tools
- Experience with Angular, or Java
- Familiarity with Git
