Large Format Printing & Finishing - Intern

Spend your summer applying your skills for Kansas City’s largest digital large format print provider. 

The right candidate is a proactive, self-starter who is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities and learning new skills quickly. This is a paid internship, 30 hours per week. Internship duration: Summer 2026 (June-September) 

Education: Candidates working on their undergrad degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Management or other product design and development focused field of study.The ideal candidate will be a positive, self-motivated team-player that is able to work independently as well as with a team. This is not a graphic design position, but those skills will help the right candidate to succeed. Must be committed to quality, have problemsolving / decision making skills and an extreme eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with troubleshooting and not shy away from mechanical issues that may arise. This positionrequires standing, bending, lifting, and good manual dexterity skills. You will be handling large rigid sheets and heavy rolls of materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Review job tickets for specifications and instructions relative to each job being processed
• All aspects of digital print, production including coordination of materials, equipment and related supplies
• Banner finishing including welding, sewing and grommeting.
• Setup and operate digital routers such as, Kongsberg XP24 and Esko Kongsberg C-64.
• Make adjustments to cut files in Kongsberg with iCut software program to optimize speed, registration, and quality
