ABOUT THE ROLE

The 3DE Senior Director is a people and implementation leader responsible for driving excellent execution of the 3DE model across multiple schools in partner districts. This role leads through others – building strong partnerships with school and district stakeholders, and ensures teams deliver consistent, high‑quality results for students and educators. This leader sets the bar, models expectations, and creates conditions for teams to succeed. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Implementation Team 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of school implementation coordinators, modeling effective leadership, decision‑making, and professional standards.
  • Build a high‑performing, collaborative team culture grounded in values, trust, accountability, and continuous learning.

Drive Operational Excellence & Outcomes 

  • Oversee the execution of 3DE across partner schools, ensuring strong implementation, alignment, and results.
  • Use data, observation, and evidence to monitor performance, identify risks, and drive improvement.
  • Balance fidelity to core model expectations with practical problem‑solving in real school environments.

Build Sustainable Partnerships

  • Serve as a strategic partner to principals and district leaders, aligning 3DE implementation with school and system priorities.
  • Build credibility and trust through clear communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow‑through.
  • Navigate competing demands while advocating for what students and educators need to be successful.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree; master’s degree preferred

Leadership & Coaching 

  • Experience leading teams; professionals.
  • Demonstrated success coaching adults to change practice, related fields include education, nonprofit, or similar organizational settings. 
  • Skilled at aligning people, systems, and resources. 

School & Partnership Experience

  • Prior experience partnering with school or district leadership
  • Skilled at influencing without authority 
  • Strong relationship-builder who can navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.

Strategic & Operational Skills

  • Strong data-informed decision-making skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Systems thinker who can balance fidelity, flexibility, and long-term sustainability.
