Bilingual (Mandarin) Human Resources Assistant
Position Summary
The Human Resources Assistant supports daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and compliance. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth HR processes and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring Support
- Assist with job postings on various platforms
- Screen resumes and coordinate interviews
- Communicate with candidates regarding application status
- Prepare offer letters and onboarding documents
2. Onboarding & Employee Records
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Maintain and update employee files (digital and physical)
- Ensure all required documentation is completed and compliant
3. Payroll & Benefits Support
- Assist with timesheet collection and payroll processing
- Help employees with basic benefits inquiries
- Coordinate with payroll/benefits providers as needed
4. Compliance & HR Administration
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Support audits and maintain HR documentation
- Track employee certifications, licenses, and required trainings
5. Employee Relations Support
- Serve as a point of contact for general HR questions
- Assist in handling employee concerns and escalating when needed
- Support performance review processes
6. General Administrative Duties
- Schedule meetings and maintain HR calendars
- Prepare reports and maintain HR databases
- Assist with special HR projects as assigned
Qualifications Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 0–2 years of HR or administrative experience Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and oral speaking skills in Madarin and English
