Required Job Qualifications

Candidate needs to have completed freshman and sophomore level chemistry and life science courses, including lecture and associated lab courses. Candidate needs to have some prior experience as a lab assistant and be able to demonstrate abilities to prepare solutions and perform basic molecular biology techniques.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Biochemistry major is preferred. Preferred skills include experience in tissue culture, PCR and gel electrophoresis.

Essential Duties

Lab chores such as preparing solutions and autoclave. Help with basic research needs such as tissue culture, confocal imaging, PCR and gel electrophoresis.
