Backcountry/Traditional Conservation Crew Member

 The Western Colorado Conservation Corps offers opportunities for young adults to spend a season serving on meaningful conservation projects throughout Western Colorado. This crew will do traditional projects and backcountry projects throughout the season.  The fall will primarily be traditional front country projects that will follow the 5-day schedule. From June to September, the crew will perform mostly backcountry and trailhead projects which will follow the 8-day hitch schedule. Projects may include a variety of trail construction/maintenance, fence construction/removal, invasive species removal, fire fuels reduction, habitat restoration and/or historic preservation.
