Company: Tenzo AI
Location: San Francisco, CA
Work style: In-person
Compensation: $80,000 OTE + equity
Experience: Entry-level

Build the growth engine at an AI startup
Tenzo AI is hiring a Technical Growth Associate to help us grow.
This is an entry-level role for someone who is analytical, technical, curious, and excited to work at the intersection of AI, sales, growth, and startups.
You will work directly with the CEO and founding team to research markets, build prospecting systems, run outbound campaigns, talk to potential customers, and figure out what actually drives growth.
This is not a traditional sales role where you only follow a script.
It is also not a strategy role where you sit far away from customers.
You will do both: build systems and talk to the market.
About Tenzo AI
Tenzo AI builds AI recruiting agents for companies that hire at high volume.
Our platform helps recruiting teams engage, screen, interview, and schedule candidates faster across phone, SMS, email, and video. We help companies move faster, reduce manual recruiting work, and create a better experience for candidates and hiring teams.
We work with companies in industries where hiring is critical, fast-moving, and difficult to manage at scale.
What you will do
You will help Tenzo find and start conversations with new customers.
You will:
- Research companies and industries that are strong fits for Tenzo
- Build targeted prospect lists using data, AI tools, and research
- Identify the right decision-makers inside each company
- Write outbound emails and LinkedIn messages
- Make cold calls to start conversations
- Test different messages, industries, titles, and sales angles
- Book qualified meetings for the CEO and sales team
- Track campaign results and analyze what is working
- Improve our outbound systems, workflows, and playbooks
- Use tools like CRM software, spreadsheets, enrichment platforms, and AI tools to make the growth process smarter
Your goal is not just to "do outbound."
Your goal is to help build a repeatable growth machine.
Who this role is for
This role is a strong fit for someone who likes building, experimenting, and improving systems, but also wants to get closer to customers and learn how startups grow.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Are early in your career and want to learn fast
- Have a technical, quantitative, or analytical mindset
- Like building systems, workflows, automations, or processes
- Are interested in AI, startups, sales, growth, or business strategy
- Are comfortable with spreadsheets, data, tools, and structured thinking
- Are willing to make cold calls and talk to potential customers
- Can write clearly and simply
- Are coachable and open to direct feedback
- Like figuring out how to make things more efficient
- Want to work in person with a small, ambitious team in San Francisco
You do not need prior sales experience.
You do need to be willing to learn, improve quickly, and do uncomfortable things.
What makes someone great in this role
The best person for this role is part builder, part analyst, and part salesperson.
They are not afraid to talk to customers, but they also do not want to do manual work forever. They want to understand the system, improve the process, and make the whole growth engine better.
A great Technical Growth Associate at Tenzo:
- Picks up the phone
- Learns quickly
