About the Role

We're looking for a driven and curious Management Trainee to join Cider's global retail expansion team. This is a hands-on role — you'll be embedded in the real work of taking Cider into new markets, from scouting locations to getting stores open. You'll be based in China but spend significant time on the ground in the US, working closely with local teams and partners. If you're detail-oriented, a natural collaborator, and genuinely excited about where retail is heading, this is the place to grow.

What You'll Do

  1. New Store Expansion Support — Assist with global market research: gather data on trade areas, competitors, and potential sites; analyze target market potential and compile reports to support decision-making.
  2. Project Coordination — Participate in the full store opening process; coordinate with landlords, vendors, designers, and logistics teams; track key milestones and manage project documentation to ensure design, construction, and fixture delivery stay on schedule.
  3. Cross-functional Communication — Work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams; help drive internal workflows and document management to keep information flowing and processes aligned.
  4. Vendor & Partner Support — Assist in sourcing vendor information; ensure timely communication and progress updates; organize contracts, quotations, drawings, and related materials.
  5. Day-to-Day Store Prep Support — Respond quickly to business needs and help resolve unexpected issues that arise during the store opening period.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or above (recent grads welcome); any major considered
  • Comfortable with frequent international travel.
  • A genuine eye for fashion — you have a distinct sense of style and stay on top of trends
  • Professional-level English and Mandarin; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player who can juggle multiple workstreams and stay organized under pressure
  • Prior internship or research experience in fashion, apparel, or retail is a plus; experience in external-facing communication or project collaboration is a plus

What You'll Get

  • Front-row seat to Cider's global retail expansion
  • Hands-on experience across real estate, operations, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Frequent exposure to the US market with on-the-ground learning opportunities
  • A fast-moving, internationally-minded team that's building something from the ground up
