Math Teacher (Grades 4–7)

We are seeking a passionate and driven Math Teacher for Grades 4–7 to join our K–8 school community in San Francisco for the 2026-2027 school year—someone who is excited to help students build strong mathematical foundations and advance beyond grade level.

About the Role

Math is a core priority at our school. Students engage in daily math instruction, and our curriculum is designed to challenge and support learners at every level.

Our middle school students are given the opportunity to accelerate into high school–level math, developing both conceptual understanding and problem-solving confidence early on.

This is an ideal role for a teacher who enjoys:

  • Teaching math deeply—not just procedurally 
  • Supporting students at different levels of advancement 
  • Creating a classroom where students feel both challenged and capable 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Strong background in mathematics 
  • High expectations for academic achievement and classroom culture 
  • Evidence (or strong potential) of driving student progress
