Marketing and Events Intern
Legacy Caregivers is seeking a Marketing, Events & Community Engagement Intern to help support social media, client-centered events, staff appreciation activities, community outreach, and creative projects.
This internship is ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, event planning, nonprofit work, public relations, social media, graphic design, or community engagement. The intern will help bring meaningful programs and creative ideas to life for staff, clients, families, and the community.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with planning monthly client activities, outings, and themed engagement projects
- Help create social media content, captions, flyers, and event materials
- Support staff appreciation projects and workplace culture initiatives
- Assist with community outreach, donation drives, partnerships, and event promotion
- Help organize photos, content calendars, and marketing materials
- Use Canva or similar tools to create simple graphics and promotional materials
- Help tell positive stories about Legacy’s clients, staff, and community impact
Qualifications:
- Current student pursuing marketing, communications, public relations, event planning, graphic design, nonprofit management, human services, or a related field
- Creative, organized, and dependable
- Comfortable using Canva, social media platforms, or willing to learn
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Respectful and professional when working with sensitive client-related content
- Interest in community impact and mission-driven work
