Junior Engineer / Architect (Remote) for building permit coordinance

We are looking for a motivated Engineering or Architecture student / recent graduate to join our construction company.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in residential construction, permitting, and plan preparation across the Bay Area.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare building plans and construction drawings
• Assist with permit applications and city submissions
• Coordinate with building departments and follow permits through approval
• Manage revisions, corrections, and city comments until permit issuance
• Support project documentation and planning process

Requirements:
• Engineering or Architecture student or recent graduate
• Familiar with construction drawings and permit processes
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects
• Experience with Bay Area city permits is a plus
• AutoCAD, Chief Architect, or similar drafting software experience preferred
